The medina and casbah even more so (fortified walled space) are perfect vehicles for wall painting. This is a fitting time to post this because in Art Appreciation we are having a conversation about "graffiti".

On the way to the Sahara, last town where the "road" ends. The columns on either side of this sign that Timbuktu is 52 days away (by camel) represent on the right the architecture of Morocco and on the left, the architecture of Mali. Unfortunately this border between these two countries is in dispute so it's closed now.
