This is an outdoor exhibition in the center of Jerusalem that always has an interesting and thought provoking theme. This time it's created by the Bezalel Art School students following their exploration of the Keren Ha'Kayemet photo archive established in 1920 that contains rare and unique photographs documenting life in Israel for over 110 years.

The students' conversation was about what an archive is in the first place and the concept of documentation. Socrates wrote nothing down arguing that writing encourages forgetting, which negates the whole concept of archiving. The students selected a photograph from the archive and made one themselves to go opposite it. I apologize I did not make note of the all the artists though I have included the dates and titles.
